A LAUGH : ....
On recognizing yourself
???????.
Our former
president, Bill Clinton was visiting a nursing home in Arkansas. He
leaned over into an elderly man's face and said, "Do you know who I
am?" The old man replied, "no but if you will go up to the front desk,
they will tell you".
On how
much to tip.
A man
was eating a meal at a restaurant. He checks his pockets and leaves
his tip -- three pennies. As he strides toward the door, his waitress
muses, only half to herself, "You know, you can tell a lot about
a man by the tip he leaves."
The man turns around,
curiosity getting the better of him. "Oh, really? Tell me, what
does my tip say?"
"Well, this
penny tells me you're a thrifty man."
Barely able to conceal
his pride, the man utters, "Hmm, true enough."
"And this penny,
it tells me you're a bachelor."
Surprised
at her perception, he says, "Well, that's true, too."
"And
the third penny tells me that your father was one, too."
A
LESSON:"Motivating
with Recognition and Respect".
Always
Remember !!!!!!!!!!
All your
employees are wearing an invisible sign around their necks
that says.
"Make
me feel important!"
Recognize
them with Respect and Recognition.
PS
(We are all wearing this sign)

Tips from the Super
Supervisor 1 video.
- As soon as possible
every day cycle your department and nod, smile and speak to every
employee. Recognize their presence on the job just fort being there.
- Call
them by their name at least once per week.
- Recognize
Family priorities.
- Recognize
ordinary abilities as well as extraordinary ones. Be specific and
sincere.
- Recognize
employee's feeling especially when you sense something is bothering
them.
Below is a true
story that proves recognition and making someone feel important works
at home:
Last year when I
spoke at a women's conference in Anderson, SC a lady walked up to me
and said, "My husband came home from one of your seminars a changed
man", I said ,"Oh?, tell me about it." She continued, "He sat me down
and told me how much he appreciated me, that I was the most important
thing in his life", and he apologized for taking me for granted." She
went on, "It has been like a honeymoon around our house ever since and
is still going on!" I asked how long and she said, "over 6 months, and
since I handle the finances in the family, he has a lot more "walking
around" money than he did before". We all had a good laugh, and I told
her I hoped the honeymoon would last a lifetime.
This incident reminded
me again of the little 4 word sermon I preach to my male audiences…..Happy
wife…….Happy life!
.
A
true story on motivation

At a meeting in Morristown,
Tennessee one of the attendees waited until everybody else had left. He
wanted to talk to me. "Do you remember that story you told in your video
about the supervisor who sent a cake to an employee's home when her husband
died?" I said "Yes". He said, "Our Company showed that tape to all the
management team. I just wanted to share with you that I did the same thing
a few weeks ago when one of my people had a death in the family. It happened
to be a problem employee, and this act on my part turned a bad relationship
into a good one, it turned an unproductive employee into a positive one,
and made me a better supervisor! I am more aware of people's "feelings".
I had never done anything like that in the past, but I'm sure I will in
the future. I just wanted to thank you for putting that on your tape.
WOW! The best blessing
in the world is finding out that you have been a blessing!
Love,

WE GOT MAIL......From You!
